GameRanger is the copyrighted work of the author, Scott Kevill, and includes but is not limited to the software, data files, web site, documentation, and communication protocols.
All use of GameRanger is governed by these terms and conditions.
You may not:
- abuse, threaten, harass in any way, any user of GameRanger
- transmit any unsolicited advertising, promotional or sales materials, or
other form of solicitation to any area or user of GameRanger
- transmit any unlawful material to any area or user of GameRanger
- transmit any offensive material to any area or user of GameRanger
- disrupt the normal flow of dialogue in any area of GameRanger, including
but not limited to "scrolling" and "spamming", or repeated entry of
meaningless messages
- use more than one account actively
- impersonate the author or any administrators
- decompile, disassemble, or reverse-engineer GameRanger, or the
communication protocols and data files it uses, for any reason including
but not limited to emulation, custom clients, custom plug-ins, proxees,
or "bots".
- modify GameRanger in any way
- institute attacks on any GameRanger servers or otherwise attempt to
disrupt the operation of GameRanger for any user
- attempt to gain access to the account or password of any other GameRanger
user
Scott Kevill reserves the right to terminate or suspend your use of
GameRanger at any time, for any conduct that Scott Kevill, in his sole discretion, believes violates these Terms and Conditions of Use or that is otherwise harmful to other GameRanger users. These Terms and Conditions of Use are subject to change at any time without notice.
Scott Kevill is not responsible for content of any chat areas or messages. Any and all statements made in these areas solely reflect the views of their authors.
The GameRanger archive may be freely distributed as long as it is kept intact and unmodified, and is not charged for (other than reasonable download costs). GameRanger may not be sold or bundled with any other product or service without Scott Kevill's prior permission. GameRanger may not be included on any CD-ROM without Scott Kevill's prior permission.
As GameRanger is continually evolving, Scott Kevill does not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Scott Kevill hereby disclaims all warranties relating to this software, whether express or implied, including without limitation any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Scott Kevill will not be liable for any special, incidental, consequential, indirect or similar damages due to loss of data or any other reason, even if Scott Kevill has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
